• Positive Youth Development
• Resilience During the Transition to Adulthood
• Research design, implementation, and evaluation of family-school based interventions
          o Promotion of healthy behavior programs
          o Prevention of risky behaviors (substance use, alcohol  use, and sexual risk-taking behavior, extra-marital sexual relation in drug users).
• Socio-emotional development including development of attachment, temperament, emotions (i.e., developing from simple to complex emotions; understanding emotions), self-concept, identity (i.e., gender, ethnic), morality, social status, ethics, peer-, family-, and romantic relationships.
